JOY Christmas Card!

Today, I have a Christmas card to share using non traditional colors.

Cheers to the Yr-Joy-Far

I used Bermuda Bay Cardstock and Ink to create this stunning Christmas Card.  I also used the Cheers to the Year Stamp Set that has several beautiful snowflakes and a collage of stars in this set.  To cut out the JOY, I used the Large Letters Framelits Dies.  This card was so quick to make that it is going to be easy to make several to give away.

Here it is close up to show you how beautiful the snowflake design is on the card.

Year of Cheer Christmas Card!

Now that there are only 35 days until Christmas (I know!!!), I have been working on some Christmas Cards.  I send out about 50 every year...so I need to get started now.

Here is a picture of one of the cards I will be making.  This was also my swap at the Stampin' Up! Convention that I attended on November 9-11, 2017.

Christmas Ornament Card

I used the Christmas Pines stamp set which is a two-step stamp set.  First, I stamped the base of the pine bow using Soft Suede Ink and then again using the second pine bow using Versa Mark Ink.  I embossed it using the Copper Embossing Powder.  I also embossed the 'Tis The Season Sentiment.  The shine from the embossing powder picks up the shine in the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Want to know how I created the top of the ornament?  I used a piece of the Copper Foil Sheets and embossed it using the cuff piece from the Many Mittens Framelits Dies (part of the Smitten Mitten Bundle).  Then I trimmed it down and cut it in half to make two pieces and used one on the ornament.

Here are some of the products I used for this card:

  • Christmas Pines Stamp Set (142049)
  • Many Mittens Framelits Dies (144672)
  • Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper (144640)
  • 1/4" Copper Trim (144179)
  • 2" Circle Punch (133782)
  • Copper Foil Sheets (142020)
  • Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)
  • Whisper White Cardstock (100730), Soft Suede Cardstock (115318)
  • Copper Embossing Powder (141636)
  • Soft Suede Ink (126978)
  • Versa Mark Ink Pad (102283)

The card was easy to create and it's stunning!

I hope you enjoy this card as I will be sharing more, I'm sure, before Christmas arrives!
