Cards: Thank You

Delightfully Detailed Suite!

Delight in the Details!

Starting tomorrow, June 1, 2018, you will be able to order out of the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  So today I want to share one of the product suites that will be available and am very excited about.

Get ready to feast your eyes on some gorgeous goodies with this video on our Delightfully Detailed suite. With stamps, a three-in-one punch, ribbon, and more, this suite is a creative paradise.

Check out the video below that showcases many items in this product suite.

What stands out in this suite is the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (146907).  One design is a 12" x 12" pattern; the other design has distinct patterns to cut out and use on the Delightfully Detailed Note Cards (146911) or one of the Vanilla or Whisper White Note Cards that are 5" x 3 1/2" in size.  You could also add a card from the Delightfully Detailed Memories & More Card Pack (147038) to create a unique card with little effort.

There are so  many things you can add to the Delightfully Detailed Specialty Paper to make beautiful cards.  Here is a card I made using the oval cut piece and the Garden Impressions 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Stack.  I also added a piece of the same paper to the envelope flap to make it stand out.

Delightfully Detailed Card 5-18

Fussy cutting is something that I find relaxing, so I cut some flowers and leafs, from the Garden Impressions 6" x 6" DSP stack (146289) and added them to the front of the card.  Can you tell what new color I used as the base of the card?  It is Shaded Spruce and it's absolutely beautiful.  I can't wait to see what Stampin' Up! will have for Christmas using this new color.

Happy stamping!

Beautiful Baby Bear Card!

Recently I traveled to London, Ontario to see the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  I was honored to be able to attend Center Stage where we were pampered and received lots of great gifts.  Thank you Stampin' Up!

One of the things we received was a hot/cold mug along with a certificate for a free stamp set of my choice.  I know it was great, but I had a hard time choosing.

But I did finally choose and it was the Baby Bear Stamp Set.  I felt this set could be used for so many things and it's adorable!

When I'm stamping with my customers, I really try to create cards for a variety of occasions.  I realized that I haven't done a card for a young child, baby, or an anniversary in a while.  So here is the card I created for you today.

Baby Bear Card

This stamp set is a triple stamping, stamp set.  What that means is you stamp the bear three times (see the stamp set below).  Here is how I created the great look.

1.  Ink up the #3 bear and stamp using Crumb Cake and the Piercing Mat (to make sure it stamped solid).
2.  Ink up the #2 bear and stamp using Sahara Sand.
3.  Ink up the #3 solid bear again using Sahara Sand, stamp off once and then stamp again.
4.  Line up the bear from the bottom of the legs and the under arms.
5.  You can start with #1 bear if you want...either way it stamps beautifully.

Here is the product used to make this card:

  • Baby Bear Stamp Set (141859)
  • Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (144137)
  • Delicate White Doilies (141701)
  • Calypso Coral 1/4" Ombre Ribbon (144235)
  • Cardstock: Calypso Coral (122925); Soft Suede (115318); Whisper White (100730)
  • Inks: Sahara Sand (126976); Crumb Cake (126975); Calypso Coral (126983)

Here is a picture of the Baby Bear Stamp Set showing all three of the bears and the sentiments that are included.

Coffee Break Suite!

The Coffee Break Suite is so beautiful, it's going to be one of my favorites.  You can do so much with the Coffee Cafe Stamp Set and the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies.  Why not create your own card and add a gift card to give to that special friend.  Here is a look at two cards I made using product in this suite:

Coffee Cafe Cards

Who doesn't love coffee...well I do if it's a good mug of coffee or a cup of tea?  Whether it be hot (on a cold, brisk fall or winter day) or iced coffee (on a warm, hot summer day), people drink lots of coffee no matter what the weather is like outside.

The Coffee Cafe Suite stirs up (no pun intended) the feeling you get when having breakfast or attending summer gatherings with family and friends.  The Coffee Cafe bundle (including the Coffee Cafe stamp set and Coffee Cups Framelits Dies) is at the center of this suite, while the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper is the star.  The colors and patterns in this paper are all so beautiful!  Here’s a look at the bundle:

Coffee Café Photopolymer Bundle

See the tiny, little Framelit in the bottom, left of the bundle picture above? That shape coordinates with the cups in the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper...oh yes!  And here’s a look at the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper:

Coffee-Break-DSP 17

Products used on the cards above:

  • Coffee Cafe Bundle (145331)
  • Coffee Break Designer Series Paper (144155)
  • 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon, Crumb Cake (144162)
  • Cardstock: Soft Sky (131203), Soft Suede (115318), Whisper White (100730), Early Expresso (119686), Crumb Cake (120953)
  • Inks: Garden Green (126973), Early Expresso (126974), Crumb Cake (126975)

I know you will enjoy the product in this suite as much as I'm going to enjoy them.

Thanks for stopping by today to check out this new product.

Delightful Daisy Suite - Card Sample #2

The Delightful Daisy Suite is so great that I just have to share another sample.

Delightful Daisy-Thanks

The colors in the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (Calypso Coral, Dadffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Pool Party, and Tranquil Tide) are gorgeous.

Using Night of Navy Ink, I stamped the daisy on Whisper White Cardstock.  I stamped the daisy two more times on a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock and punch them out.  I colored each flower using the Aqua Painter and the Daffodil Delight Ink.  I stamped the inside of the Daisy and then layered them on top of each other.  I finished the inside of the daisy with one of our new Clear Faceted Gems.

And don't forget to stamp the inside...

Adios, Cucumber Crush!

Well, this is the last project I will be sharing using one of the five retiring 2015-2017 In Colors:  Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush.

These colors have been an active part of my life for the past two years, and I’ll sorely miss them when they retire at the end of May, but I also look forward to the new colors that will fill the spot that’s missing when they leave.

2015-17 InColor Markers

We still have several months with them, so why am I telling you about them now?  Here are a couple of reasons:

  1. Once it is announced that the colors will officially retire, we will likely see a mad-dash to gather up all the In Colors – and they will be gone before you know it.
  2. If you love these colors and want to hoard the paper or ink refills, get them now.
  3. While these colors are all great colors, they will probably not be in the new catalog.  They will most likely be replaced with new In Colors.

Cucumber Crush

Cucumber Crush gave us the fun, bright green we didn’t have with Wild Wasabi, Garden Green, Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz.  This bright green could be used for spring flowers and it was also a great color that was used for the holiday season.

I decided to showcase this color using the Love You Lots (Host) Stamp Set.  Even though it's spring here in Michigan, we've had several wet, cool days where the weather does not feel like spring.  I hope this card brightens your spirit as much as it did mine.

Cucumber Crush Card

I paired the Frog with the 2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack.  The 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper Stacks have several designs and I chose the flower pattern (because it made me happy to see flowers).  I also used Dapper Denim in the background to tone the bright green down a bit.  The Love You Lots Stamp Set is one of my favorites as it has so many cute characters such as the elephant, ladybugs, hedge hogs and, of course, the frog.

Stamp Sets:  Love You Lots Stamp Set (Wood-141798; Clear 141801)
Papers:  2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (Cucumber Crush) (138432), Cucumber Crush, Dapper Denim, Whisper White
Inks:  Archival Basic Black, Cucumber Crush
Accessories:  Layering Circles Framelits Dies (141705), Flourish Thinlits Dies (141478), Aqua Painter (103954), 2016-2018 In Color Enamel Shapes (141410), Stampin’ Dimensionals

I hope you enjoyed all the projects I've shared using the five 2015-2017 In Colors as much as I have.  They will be missed...but you don't have to miss out on getting all the In Color supplies before they're gone.  Stock up now on your favorite 2015-2017 In Color products.

Thank You So Very Much!

With Sale-a-Bration coming to an end on Friday, March 31st, I had to share another card using one of the FREE stamp sets.

Dapper Denim (one of five In Colors for 2016-2018) is such a rich blue color.  I paired it with some of our Silver Foil Sheets (132178) to make the Dapper Denim pop.  The So Very Much Stamp Set (Wood-143340; Clear-143343) in the Sale-a-Bration Brochure is a great stamp set that creates a quick and easy card because the Thank You is a large stamp.

To bling it up even more, I embossed the Thank You using our Silver Embossing Powder (109131),  added Rhinestones (119246), and finally added some of the Sale-a-Bration Silver 3/8" Metallic Ribbon.  Wow, now that is bling...you may need your sunglasses!

Thank You Card-SoVeryMuch

Remember, there are only 5 days left to get your FREE product out of the Sale-a-Bration Brochure.  It's FREE with a $50 order.  Contact me today or click on the link to the right to go to my website.

Happy stamping!
